Throughout BBW Shrine different terms are used to shorten text and ease reading. Below I have listed clarifications for the terms used most often.
I have used the term BBW to replace similar terms, such as plus-size, buxom, (pleasantly) plump, curvaceous, etc. The motivation for this is purely for convenience sake and to not overflow those new to the subject with too many different terms.
Note that not every woman that is of a larger size appreciates the term BBW. In ‘Volume II – Beautiful Woman’ I will talk in more detail about this, as well as my personal view towards its use.
BBW is the abbreviation for Big Beautiful Woman and Big Beautiful Women. Notice the underlined characters – the ‘a’ for singular and the ‘e’ for plural – at the end of the last word in each case. I use the following rules for stating singular and plural forms respectively:
When I use ‘BBW’ singular, I will state “a BBW”. Here the W stands for Woman. Example: “For a BBW, finding clothes at a regular clothing store may be difficult.”.
When I use ‘BBW’ plural I will state just “BBW”. Here the W stands for Women. Example:
“Many BBW experience finding clothes at a regular clothing store difficult.”.
