Links added/changed and a small update

I’ve just updated the BBW Links page and changed the link to the blog ‘Ask a guy who likes fat chicks’ since he continued his old Blogger hosted blog to a blog on the Tumblr service.
And added is a link to ‘Magic list of guys who like fat chicks‘, a blog started by Chris who wants to share with you a gallery of guys that openly admire “fat chicks”. I am a very big supporter of this kind of initiative because it helps both in size acceptance as well as building confidence in BBW who do not have a lot of it (which by the way doesn’t mean that I think that most BBW don’t have confidence, just saying).
Also, I’d like to mention that I am presently working on a complete overhaul/redesign of BBW Shrine. I have been 3D modeling the actual shrine and it is coming along very nicely. I am extremely excited to show it off here but I am doing that when things are nearly finished only. The website itself is also getting a makeover, both graphically as well as under the hood. Everything will be much simpler and easier to navigate, with short URLs. While I realize it has been two years since I went live and almost four years since I first came up with the idea for this website, I have not forgotten about it and very much want to complete it, as well as expand it.

Fat Sex – The Naked Truth

Is there ever a day that goes by that an admirer of plus-size and Big Beautiful Women, doesn’t think, eat, sleep and breathe the word ‘fat’? I suppose I can only speak for myself, as I too – a healthy middle-aged man – think of sex; ‘fat sex’ to be more precise.
At certain times in life it can be quite frustrating, suppressing what I can best describe as ‘fat fantasies’. One time, I seriously considered taking some kind of medication to still my insatiable desire for looking at pictures of curvaceous women.
And then there is that utter frustration when you hear stories from fat women about “hiding their shame for their bodies in order to live a somewhat ‘normal’ life”. — That’s a quote by the way, not an opinion. And one I hear over and over again. — So here I am, practically ‘worshiping’ you, and then there is you, more or less saying you rather not exist at all…
But let’s face it, for most people – and I would say for men in particular – each of these two topics – ‘fat’ and ‘sex’ – are taboos on their own; let alone using them in the same breath of air.
Rebecca Jane Weinstein, author and size acceptance activist did just that. Her upcoming book is titled ‘Fat Sex’. And, as an admirer of Big Beautiful Women, I can’t wait to get my dawty big hands (yes they are quite apt) on a copy! Now, before you jump to conclusions, I am not another chubby chaser that loves to read about dirty little fantasies from fat women.
Rebecca’s book see, covers the hard topics as well, aside from the obvious – title-driven – ones. While the following list is just an out-take of chapter titles, you can pretty much guess what kind of ‘tough’ subjects are covered in the book:
- “I’ll take that Closet in an Extra-Large”
- “I Kissed that Frog Expecting a Prince and Instead I Got You?”
- “For that Position the Manual Says We Need a Forklift”
Added to the list above, are no less than 15 more chapters in this book. Each of these chapters cover the difficult, amusing, disheartening, uplifting, depressing and arousing aspects of life as a fat person in a skinny person’s world, who also enjoys ‘sex’.
