In the BBW community there are often size related events organized with the aim of showing off the beauty of the plus-size shape. Among these are BBW fashion shows and beauty contests, and sometimes other events related to a certain theme.
BBW party organizers are also known for organizing such events. Sometimes they are organized right before or after a party, other times they are standalone events.
Going to an event with hundreds and possibly thousands of people is a big thing for most people.
I have approached some organizers of these events for interviews. Read the questions and answers and have a look at the included photos to get a good impression of what (the atmosphere at) a BBW event is like.
